I dislike Ashfur with a passion.
Ashfur was a whiny, over-dramatic little shit.
After Squirrelflight ended it with him, Ashfur almost killed Hollyleaf, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather. Shows how much he "loved" her, huh? I don't think Ashfur loved her at all. He had an obsessive infatuation with her.
Squirrelflight did NOTHING wrong. She didn't "lead him on" or any shit like that. She realized Ashfur wasn't what she wanted, and she truly loved Brambeclaw. Ashfur had no right whatsoever to attempt to murder Hollyleaf Lionblaze and Jayfeather. He was even going to reveal the secret that those 3 weren't even Squirrelflights children.
While Squirrelflight shouldn't have kept that from everyone, inlcuding Brambleclaw, she just wanted to help her sister out. I honestly think Hollyleaf was right to kill Ashfur. Sooner or later he was bound to murder Squirrelflight or Brambleclaw over his crazy obsession.
TL;DR: Ashfur is an overdramatic whiny little bitch who deserved to be killed.
And, I refuse to sympathize with a fictional, over-dramatic, obsessive and murderous cat from a book series.
Feel free to use c:
But I understand this is an anti-stamp, so I will step away from it, considering I am a fan of Ashfur.
Ashfur just lost his mind. He went insane.
I'm sure if he still had his sanity he would've
done those things. I mean he had a lot of
things happen to him when he was little and
when he was in love with Squirrelflight.. ;-;
Please don't hate but, he did have -
His mom and dad get murdered,
The person he was in love with
treat him like dirt. (sorta she kinda was
playing with his emotions)
Then he had to apprentice her 'daughter'
with another man.
Also when the whole fire scene, he was insane.
Then he died.
He had a shetty life. xDD
(( plz don't hate on me ;-; I respect your opinion. ))
A. A lot of Warriors' parents get killed, Ashfur's are no different.
B. Squirrelflight didn't treat him like dirt or toy with his emotions. She tried her best to love him, but couldn't. Sorry she couldn't be forced to be in love with someone.
C. It's part of being a warrior.
So really, Ashfur is to blame for his death, for Hollyleaf running away, for Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight breaking up, for Leafpool stepping down as medicine cat.
I respect your opinion, but Ashfur going 'insane' isn't an excuse.
And not all people would go insane when they loose
someone, but everyone is different.
She told Ashfur no one could trust Brambleclaw
and then later she tells him he was wrong and that
Brambleclaw was the one she loved. If that's not toying
with someone's emotions, I don't know what is.
Love has nothing to do with being a warrior.
Ashfur didn't ask Hollyleaf to kill him.
Ashfur going insane is a perfect judgement, I was innocent and
right now I'm on the brink of insanity. I know. I've asked doctors,
I've gotten tested. I've thought of killing myself and before, I thought
that was the stupidest things ever.
When did she say no one could trust Brambleclaw? Even if she did, Bramble and her had many arguments, she is going to say bad things about someone who she just fought with many times. But she later said she would judge Brambleclaw by his actions, not heritage.
He had a lot of time to get over it, and he is a warrior, he could still love Squirrelflight, but she has a mate, and he needs to get over that.
He couldn't expect to get away with attempted murder of three cats and the assistance on a leader, and just walk around without conequenses.
Ashfur never went insane, demented; lunatic, crazed, crazy, maniacal are all words for insanity, and Ashfur only ever showed them in the fire very loosely, the rest of the series he was in, he was just angry, not evil.
He was adorable as an apprentice though. A hero with the dogs in the company of his sister.
But then he started to pad after a she-cat who's his own niece.
She never loved him ba-- yeah you get it.
- meh. she was just trying to protect her sister ;3; though she could have AT LEAST told brambleclaw. I'll give you that. xD
Lol, but yes, Ashfur was an ass. XD
